H+H original design. Made in my studio from the oldest and most rare quilt in this collection, a mid 1800s split 9 block/ocean waves/flying geese pattern that has been superbly hand stitched and hand quilted in a lightweight construction. Amazing samples of tiny motif turkey red calicos, along with some brown calicos, yellow check and a few script fabrics as well. The blue fabric print displays little bubbles of water, reminiscent of the froth of the sea. Design of overalls is easy and free, with wide legs and pleats at chest and in back to allow for ease and comfort. Antiqued brass snap closure and hidden inside hip pockets. I personally think this will look cute on all sizes...oversized on xs-l, more fitted on xl, or for staying cozy during maternity. Again I can take up the inseam for you if necessary, please keep in mind it has a drop crotch design.
up to 46" bust
up to 54" waist
up to 56" hips
25.5" rise (from crotch seam to top of chest hem)
Condition is strong throughout, but many areas of the smallest triangle calico fabrics have weakened and shredded due to the dyes used & batting is exposed in these areas. This does not affect the wearability of the garment, but if you are looking for a pristine garment this may not be for you.
each garment in the wonderland collection has been charged with the reiki energy of rosemary, holly and ivy. Rosemary for clarity in creativity. Holly for protection. Ivy for transformation.
